What is the difference between a dashboard and a report?
A dashboard is a screen you open and the numbers are as they stand right now: sales, jobs, stock, accounts. A report is the same numbers fixed at a moment and laid out to print or email: the month’s sales by branch, or who owes you money at close of business.
Who needs custom dashboards rather than the reports built into their software?

Questions before you call
Can a dashboard read live from Xero, MYOB, simPRO or ServiceM8?
Yes. Each number is read from the program that holds it the moment you open the screen, so nothing is retyped and nothing goes stale.
Do we need to put all our numbers in one place first?
Not always: if your numbers come from one program, or from programs that already agree, the dashboards read from them directly. If they disagree, they need matching up first, and we will tell you.
How much does a custom dashboard cost?
One fixed quote, set in writing before the first screen is built. You pay in five stages and can stop after any of them and keep what’s built.
Do we own the dashboards and reports?
Yes. You own the code and the rights to it, so the screens, the reports and the links to your software are yours to keep, change or hand to another developer.
Do you build dashboards for businesses outside Adelaide?
Yes. Adelaide first, then anywhere in Australia. The dashboards read from your software wherever your office is, and planning and check-ins can be done by video call.
