Questions before you call
Will a website redesign lose my search rankings?
No. Every old web address is kept or pointed to its new page, so Google and other links still work. Where you rank afterwards depends on your content and your competitors.
Does my old site stay up while the new one is built?
Yes, untouched. Visitors keep using the old site until your web address is switched. The new one is built and checked beside it, so there is never a gap.
Can you redesign a WordPress, Wix or Squarespace site?
Yes. Your pages and text are carried across; the theme, page builder and plugins are not. You keep your web address, and the old subscription can be closed once the new site is live.
